How CataBatch credits work: one successful record change, one credit

What uses a credit, what stays free and why changing several fields on one record still counts once.

OwnBatch account credit overview for CataBatch

CataBatch credits are designed around successful Shopify record changes, not around every click, field or preview. This keeps the cost connected to completed catalog work.

One record can include several fields

If a supported product update changes its title, vendor, tags, SEO title and meta description together, that successful product record still uses one credit — not five.

Preparation does not spend credits

Store synchronization, reading and scanning data, Excel export, Excel import validation and preview do not consume credits. A failed, cancelled or unprocessed change does not consume a credit either.

Credits belong to the OwnBatch account

The wallet is shared at OwnBatch account level so future OwnBatch tools can use the same balance. Trial eligibility and store checks are enforced by the backend rather than trusted to the browser.
